This low-maintenance ornamental grass can be used solo or in groups in a tub or pot on the balcony or terrace, in modern gardens, grass gardens, prairie gardens and provides indispensable thin vertical accents in the modern perennial border.

Superb and upright selection of Molinia caerulea that produces distinctive stems and flowers from basal clumps of green leaves. Molinia caerulea 'Torch', true to its name, produces flowers that look like torches. The flowering season is August-November.
Very attractive fall colors. Stays upright for a long time in winter.

Molinia Torch is very hardy and tolerates a wide variety of conditions, but poorer soil and a sunny position will give the best results.
