Miscanthus sinensis Ards Angel ®
Cool as ice, upward Newton Power, solid as a rock.
The broadleaved Chinese silvergrass, miscanthus Ards Angel has architectural qualities and an exotic appearance. A distinct eye-catcher in the garden, on the balcony, patio or terrace.
In the course of august cool grey very upright flower stems rise up form the nice wide green slightly pendulous foliage. After that, rich flowerbrushes appear in colours red moving from red purple to brown red and keep colour over a relatively long period. The leaves of Ards Angel remain on the plant for a long time throughout the winter, which is one of the reasons why this ornamental grass is for a winter long a jewel.
Depending circumstances between 1.20 - 1,60 m of heigth, very hardy and tolerates a wide range of soils.
